Scholarships

Army ROTC Scholarships are available for high school and college students to compete for based on merit. ROTC is looking to recruit scholars, athletes, and leaders. Students who are interested in competing for a three or four year scholarship are encouraged to contact us directly or visit GoArmy.com and applying online. National and campus based scholarships are available.

The University of Maine will ensure room and board is covered for all high school National Scholarship winners who attend the University of Maine.* Please contact the Army ROTC scholarship and enrollment advisor for more information at  207.581.1125.

Additionally, a recent bill was signed into law waiving in-state tuition for Maine Guardsmen. The bill provides free in-state tuition rates to the University of Maine system, the Maine Maritime Academy, and the Maine Community College System.

As an incentive to attract more Cadets to the program, any out-of-state Cadet who signs a non-scholarship contract receives in-state tuition at the University of Maine.

  • 1st year, $300 per month
