Jhan Gil-Marin

Jhan Kevin Gil-Marin is an enthusiastic civil engineering graduate student at the University of Maine, specializing in transportation safety research. He got his bachelor’s degree from the National University of Colombia, where he contributed to a freight transportation research group. Jhan’s research interests include transportation safety and freight transportation. Under the guidance of Dr. Ali Shirazi, Jhan is currently researching the impact of rumble strip installation on the prevention of lane departure crashes in Maine.
