Ashok Poudel

Ashok Poudel is an undergraduate in civil engineering from the Institute of Engineering (IOE)-Pashchimanchal Campus (NEP) and a graduate in transportation engineering from the Institute of Engineering (IOE)-Pulchowk Campus (NEP). In his graduate thesis, he worked on the highway alignment planning process, integrating a spatial-based approach with an analytical hierarchy process, optimization techniques, and multi-criteria analysis.
His professional journey began as a teaching assistant in civil engineering at Universal Engineering and Science College (NEP). In 2018, he started working as a highway engineer in the government sector at the Department of Roads (NEP), where he has experience working on national pride and cross-country highway projects. Throughout his career, Ashok has been committed to advancing transportation engineering and is interested in contributing to transportation safety, operational research, transportation modeling, and data analytics.
