Christine Voyer, Workshop Co-Presenter
Christine Voyer (she/her) joined the Gulf of Maine Research Institute in 2011 as a member of the community science team (former citizen science). As a senior program manager, Christine has helped to expand how GMRI supports authentic science learning and data literacy in classrooms. Before coming to GMRI, Christine taught high school science, middle school alternative education, and studied amphibian ecology and conservation at Cornell University and the University of Missouri. Through the range of projects that Christine works on, she is excited to help participants experience the fun, creativity, and critical importance of science. She hopes that GMRI’s education programs are empowering to educators and students alike. Christine has a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Management and Master of Arts in Teaching, both from Cornell University.
