Wednesday, October 23 from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m., Bangor Room, Memorial Union

On Oct 23, 2019, Interim Provost Gilbert hosted the first Academic Affairs Faculty Forum for 2019-2020. The topic of this forum was “Learning Analytics: An Introduction” with presentations by Peter Schilling, Executive Director of the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning, and Deb Allen, Assistant Provost for Institutional Research and Assessment.

The presention and discussion centered around learning analytics, including options, resources, and ways data can be used to improve teaching and learning for students and faculty.  As the University adopts Navigate and Brightspace, the new learning management system, an opportunity exists to enhance and share data about student learning.
