Michael Venti: Concert Percussion, Percussion Ensemble
Michael Venti has been an instrumental music teacher and orchestral percussionist in the state of Maine for over 15 years. Having earned his B.M. in Music Education at SUNY Fredonia in 2009, studying percussion with Dr. Kay Stonefelt, he then went on to earn his M.M. in Music Performance at the University of Maine in 2012 under Dr. Stuart Marrs. As a public school teacher, Mr. Venti specializes in instrumental music at the secondary level. Since 2012, he has taught Concert Band, Jazz Band, Pep Band, Music Appreciation, and Music Theory at Mount View High School in Thorndike Maine, where he also serves as the VPA Department Head. As an orchestral percussionist, Michael regularly performs with the Bangor Symphony Orchestra, as well as many other groups throughout the state of Maine.
