Katrina Pugh
Katrina (Kate) Pugh is a PhD student in the Ecology and Environmental Sciences graduate program. Her research is at the intersection of sustainability, social networks, conversation and AI. In her doctoral research she is using natural language processing (NLP), observation, interviews, and focus groups to discern how conversation enables diverse marine aquaculture stakeholders to innovate, build relationships, and move to action. She teaches at Columbia University in the Information and Knowledge Strategy Master of Science Program. Her BA is from Williams College and MS/MBA is from MIT Sloan School of Management.
