Dr. Keith Evans is an associate professor of marine resource economics at the University of Maine, specializing in fisheries management, marine policy, and the economics of aquaculture. His research uses microeconomics and applied econometrics to understand how the seafood economy responds to change, working closely with coastal resource managers to inform real-world policy decisions. His current projects focus on the Maine lobster fishery, soft-shell clams, northern shrimp, and coastal aquaculture development.
