Dr. Gayle Zydlewski is the Director of the Maine Sea Grant College Program and a researcher specializing in fish behavior, physiology, and population dynamics. Her work examines how environmental conditions influence fish species, including sturgeon in the Penobscot River and the Gulf of Maine, as well as the ecological impacts of tidal power development. With over 20 years of academic and government experience, she collaborates with regulators and industry partners to support fisheries and marine energy initiatives.
