Biorobotics and Biomechanics Laboratory (BBL)
PI Hejrati has established BBL the Biorobotics and Biomechanics Lab (BBL) to perform biomechanical studies and develop assistive robotic devices. The facilities and resources of the utilized are located in a 1000-sq. ft. laboratory space located at the Crosby Hall building, which is fully equipped with:
-A nine-camera motion capture system
(Vicon Motion System Ltd., Oxford, UK) includingT20 and Vantage high-resolution and high-speed cameras.
-A DELSYS EMG system
Containing 16 wireless electrodes and accelerometers
-Wireless EEG Headset
-PNOE breath analysis
Allows users to measure metabolic energy during various activities to measure and analyze energy cost of walking.
-A robotic arm manipulator (WAM)
-3 3D printers
capable of printing with ABS, TPU, and PLA
-PCB milling machine
