Your Mobile MaineCard makes navigating campus simple.
Printing On Campus
UMaine uses a system called PaperCut for campus printing. Every student automatically receives $16.00 in PaperCut printing credits each semester. Your balance begins at $0.00 and then shows a negative balance as you use them. You do not owe any printing funds if your balance is negative.
Once you use up those credits, printing costs will automatically draw from your Black Bear Bucks account.
Fogler Library Barcode
Need to access library materials? You can pull up your library barcode right on your phone using the Transact eAccounts app (the app used to manage your card balances).
- Open the Transact eAccounts app on your phone and log in.
- From your profile screen, select “More Information.”
- Tap the “Show Barcode” button to view.

It’s easy to get confused by the different types of funds. Meal Plan Dollars are specific to dining, while Black Bear Bucks act as a flexible debit account you can use almost anywhere on campus.
