Mobile Deposits on-the-go
With your Mobile MaineCard, you have the ability to add funds to your Black Bear Bucks account right through the Transact e-Accounts app on your phone.
How to Add Funds
- Open the Transact e-Accounts app on your smartphone and sign in.
- Under the Accounts section, click the “Add Money” button.
- Use a credit/debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
- Immediately access Black Bear Bucks in your account.
Add Black Bear Bucks Online
The MaineCard Service Center makes it easy to manage and deposit funds to your Black Bear Bucks account through the secure Online Card Office.
What You Can Do Online
- Deposit funds using a credit or debit card
- Check your Black Bear Bucks balance & transaction history
- Save payment methods for faster funding
- Set up recurring deposits
Don’t forget to click the “Make Deposit” button and email a receipt to yourself to finalize your transaction.
Add FUnds to Departmental Cards
For Faculty & Staff Use Only
To add funds to a UMaine Departmental Card, complete the Departmental MaineCard Contract and follow all instructions provided.
Once your contract has been approved, the MaineCard Team will notify you when the funds have been loaded onto your card.
