This fall, at the University of Maine and the University of Maine at Machias, there is a FREE research learning experience (RLE) for everyone, whether you like to solve problems, build sculptures, or spend time in the Maine outdoors. Join your new friends in blowing up artwork, tackling climate change, building with Habitat for Humanity, tracking animal DNA, and many more adventurous learning opportunities offered through the RLE program.

The RLE program consists of two components:

  • FREE one-credit RLE course for the fall semester, starting Aug. 22, 2021, (valued at approximately $398–$1,108);
  • All of our spots in the residential week experience are filled, but there are still a few seats left in many of your incredible fall experiences.

The total cost of participation in the fall semester RLE program is $0, and there is so much more to gain by signing up.

Sign up deadline is Aug. 6.

For more information about the program see our frequently asked questions page, call 207.581.4848 or email rle@maine.edu.
