Dominic Piacentini

Dominic studied anthropology at The College of Wooster, where his research focused on the use and conservation of natural resources in and near protected areas in Tanzania. Dominic has also served as an AmeriCorps service member with the Appalachian Forest Heritage Area where he participated in the development of a strategic plan for the protection, enhancement, and promotion of cultural resources in the North Central Highlands of West Virginia. His current research interests include the intersections of natural resource use and conservation and the political entanglements of conservation policy in human communities. With a graduate assistant position with the Office of Research Administration, Dominic works as Grant & Contract Administrator.
