Students can fast-track their UMaine education by combining undergraduate and graduate degrees, requiring only one extra year of study. This approach saves on tuition, lets students start their careers sooner, and allows undergraduate financial aid to cover some graduate coursework.


Army ROTC at UMaine
As the state of Maine’s land-grant institution, UMaine offers students the opportunity to participate in Army ROTC to develop their leadership, athletic, and academic skills while completing their degree. Open to all majors, with a special focus on STEM and Nursing, ROTC combines elective coursework with hands-on training, tuition support, and leadership experiences.
