Joseph Baldacci, ’87 is currently an attorney in Bangor and Portland, Maine, a former Bangor City Council member, and former mayor of the City of Bangor. In 2016, he was a candidate for the Democratic nomination in the race for Maine’s Second Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. After graduating from the University of Maine he went on to earn his JD from the University of Maine School of Law in 1991. Joe has been a member of the Maine Bar since 1991, establishing his own general practice in Downtown Bangor that year. He has served on the Finance, Government operations, Business & Economic Development, and Infrastructure Committees for the City of Bangor. He lives in Bangor with his wife Elizabeth, their two children Caroline and Olivia, and their golden retriever Rosie.
