Residential Parking lot snow removal starts Feb. 3

The University of Maine will be removing snow from residential parking lots starting Tuesday, Feb. 3. Residential students and guests must move their vehicles to alternate parking on their assigned date.

Moving Your Vehicle:

  • Begin moving vehicles to alternate parking at Noon the day of the scheduled closure.
  • Vehicles left in the lots after 5 p.m. on the date of snow removal will be ticketed and towed at owners’ expense.
  • Vehicles may move back to the closed lot once Grounds has removed the barricades.
  • All vehicles must be back in resident parking lots (Red Lots) by 6 a.m. the following day.

Tuesday, Feb. 3

Lots impacted:

Colvin, York South, York Complex, and Aroostook lots

Alternate parking Lots:

Belgrade, Libby and Nutting lots

Wednesday, Feb. 4

Lots impacted:

CCA (red), Gannett/Cutler, Gannett, Cumberland, Androscoggin, Knox and Tennis Court lots

Alternate parking Lot:

Belgrade Lot

Thursday, Feb. 5

Lots impacted:

Wells, Stodder, Balentine, College Ave. South and Steam Plant lots

Alternate parking Lot:

Alfond, Memorial Gym, Satellite and Satellite Extension Lots

Friday, Feb. 6

Lot impacted:

Hilltop Lot

Alternate parking Lots:

Gannett/Cutler, Jenness North &
South, Satellite and Satellite Extension Lots
