Fifty years ago, both groups sought to democratize and transform the practice of poetry by employing new and challenging forms of artistic expression. Peruvian writers Rocío Uchofen and Roger Santivañez, and Carlos Villacorta together with the translator and associate professor John Burns and Mexican professor, poet, and editor Ruben Medina will discuss the works of Jorge Pimentel, Carmen Ollé and Enrique Verástegui among others.
