Putnam Competition Results

Congratulations to UMaine’s Putnam Mathematical Competition team. This year, the team’s top scorer was Graham Van Goffrier, who placed in the top 10% nationwide. His teammates Logan Boyd and Crockett Lalor each placed in the top 50% nationwide. In Memoriam: Henry Pogorzelski, 1922-2015

Professor Henry Andrew Pogorzelski passed away on December 30, 2015 at the age of 93. Dr. Pogorzelski was a member of the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of Maine from 1969 to 2011.
