UMaine will be in a storm day operating situation on Saturday, Dec. 23, as defined in the university’s inclement weather policy. Only employees designated as essential by Storm Day Staffing Plans are expected to report to work Saturday. Normal operations are currently scheduled to resume at 5 a.m. Sunday.

The American Red Cross emergency shelter at Leonard Middle School, 156 Oak St., Old Town is open for all area community members, including UMaine employees and students.
