Campus Partners

The UMaine Counseling Center is an active part of the Division of Student Life and our larger UMaine community. We hope to be helpful in many ways, but you may also find one of these campus partners to be of help. If you come in to see us, our staff can help get your connected to many of these offices.

Bodwell Center for Service & Volunteerism – Get involved, meet new people and give back to our community!

Center for Student Involvement (CSI) – Looking for something fun to do or a group to join? Look no further!

Campus Recreation – A great way to meet new people, catch up with friends, and keep your body (and mind!) strong.

Career Center – A large reason for going to college is to get knowledge and experience for a future career. The staff here are great.

Commuter & Non-traditional Students – It can be hard to find your place when you don’t live on campus or have taken a break and returned to school. This office is a fantastic resource for connecting with others in a similar place.

Community Standards, Rights & Responsibilities – Ever wonder what is expected of you as a student-citizen? This office can help answer any questions you might have.

Student Life Dean’s Office – The staff in the Dean’s Office are more than willing to help you discover all things “Student Life”.

Student Accessibility Services – If you have or believe you might have a disability that impacts your ability to be successful at UMaine, visit the helpful staff at this office to learn more about how they can support you.

Fraternity/Sorority Affairs – Want to join a Greek organization? Find out more about our Greek community.

Office of Diversity and Inclusion & Rainbow Resource Center – A safe and welcoming space that advocates for all students that celebrates and welcomes diversity!

Office of International Programs – A place for support and community for all international students and students interested in global experiences such as study abroad.  Services range from assistance with immigration, academic issues to everyday adjustment related challenges.

Title IX– Working to make our campus safe from violence, this office is an advocate and resource for survivors who need a helping hand as they work to heal from violence.

Police Department– UMaine PD are professionals dedicated to keeping our campus safe.

Residence Life – Working to make you campus living experience a great one!

Student Advocacy Program – Need someone in your corner? Student Advocates are here to help.

Student Wellness Resource Center – A great place to learn new ways to be inspired to support your wellness efforts, including supporting safe drinking habits.

TRIO – Designed to assist students at UMaine who are: from low-income families, first generation college students (whose parent has not earned a bachelor’s degree), and/or students with disabilities.

Veterans Education & Transition Services – We love our Vets! This office is here to do all they can to support those who have served our country.
