The Maine Business School is one of the seven colleges at the University of Maine. MBS is home to 1,400 undergraduate students and 350 graduate students. Our undergraduate international students come from 18 different countries and our award-winning faculty hail from six different continents!

ABOUT UMAINE

LOCATION

Maine is consistently ranked as one of the safest states in the nation. The University of Maine is located in Orono, right in the heart of the state of Maine. The Bangor Internation Airport is 12 miles or an 18 minute drive from campus.

SEASONS

We have all four seasons in Maine: winter, spring, summer, and fall. And we find ways to enjoy the weather no matter the season! There are many activities you can do right from campus: hiking, bicycling, canoeing, skiing, sledding, birdwatching, and more!

Association to advance collegiate schools of business

Since 1974, the Maine Business School has been accredited by AACSB. AACSB accreditation is known, worldwide, as the longest-standing, most recognized form of specialized accreditation that an institution and its business programs can earn. Accreditation is a voluntary, nongovernmental process that includes a rigorous external review of a school’s mission, faculty qualifications, curricula, and ability to provide the highest-quality programs. Only 5% of business schools in the world are AACSB accredited.
