Undiscovered Maine
Mission: Undiscovered Maine is a University of Maine Business School initiative that empowers students to support economic development and tourism in underrepresented regions of Maine. Through hands-on experience in web design, social media strategy, marketing, and management, students work directly with local businesses to strengthen their online presence and community engagement.
Our vision is to be a model for ethical, community-centered innovation that connects students, businesses, and rural Maine communities. We strive to create a future where technology, tourism, and education come together to support inclusive, sustainable economic growth. By championing business ethics and responsible AI practices, we aim to build trust, foster equitable opportunities, and celebrate the unique character of Maine’s undiscovered regions.
