Mission: Readiness, a nonpartisan, national security organization is currently seeking applications for a Spring 2016 intern. The intern will serve as a key member of a team focused on strengthening our national security by advocating for key investments in the next generation of Americans. He or she will work in coordination with senior partners of the organization in order to develop and execute plans related to early childhood development, education, and policies to reduce childhood obesity. The Mission: Readiness intern will conduct policy research as needed, and assists in preparation for action plans, press events, report releases, meetings with key leaders, and other initiatives – all of which aim to impact state and federal policy opportunities across the country.
This is a perfect internship for a college junior or senior interested in national security, defense, health, or education policy. To apply, submit cover letter and resume to Abby Ware, Senior Program Assistant, by December 1, 2015.
