The Maine Press Association has awarded $2,500 scholarships to two University of Maine students, Peyton Perkins and Tyler Bridges, for their strong commitment to journalism. Perkins, from Quincy, Massachusetts, is currently a copy editor for the The Maine Campus and is interested in pursuing investigative journalism. Bridges, from Calais, Maine, also works for The Maine Campus as the head photographer, and is interested in a career in multimedia storytelling and documentary.
