Media features Tyler Technologies’ new office and UMaine collaboration

WABI (CBS 5 in Bangor) and Mainebiz announced the grand opening of Tyler Technologies in Orono, an effort by the company to encourage greater collaboration with the University of Maine. Tyler Technologies initiated a partnership with UMaine’s Foster Center for Innovation in 2021 for the annual Maine App Challenge, allowing high school students to explore software design and development by creating a mobile app, but the company also propels students and recent graduates into internship and employment opportunities. “The University of Maine has been a source of excellent talent for Tyler over the years, particularly in the technology and engineering space. We’re confident our physical presence in Orono will further build our long-standing practice of hiring UMaine interns and graduates,” said Chris Webster, president of the company’s ERP & Civic Division.
