Early College Discovery Day

The University of Maine will host an Early College Discovery Day to engage high school students in interactive, hands-on learning experiences across multiple academic disciplines, helping them connect personal interests to future college and career pathways. The event will emphasize authentic connection and belonging by bringing together faculty, staff, current UMaine students, participating Early College students, and other interested high schoolers for an immersive day of exploration and learning. Students will take part in an informational resource fair, student life interactive presentations, student panels featuring Early College alumni and specialized campus tours tailored to students’ academic interests.

The inaugural Early College Discovery Day was made possible by generous funding from the Alton ’38 and Adelaide Hamm Campus Activity Fund, with additional support from the University of Maine Division of Lifelong Learning and the Maine College of Engineering and Computing.
