Against My Will UMaine, artist featured on WABI-TV
Orono, April 2, 2019 – Artist and education activist Traci Molloy returned to the University of Maine on April 2 to mount a new exhibit in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The exhibit, titled Against My Will UMaine, is mounted on the mall in front of Fogler Library, and consists of de-identified images of UMaine faculty, staff and students who are survivors of sexual violence. Her work with students and staff at Alfred University was displayed on the mall last October. Molloy’s art highlights human resilience by sharing the stories of survivors seeking to be heard, and to heal. View the Channel 5 new story here, and visit the exhibit on the mall through April 25.
