Don’t forget to pay your Housing Deposit!
All new, incoming first-year and transfer students who apply for University of Maine Housing are required to pay a $75.00 Housing Deposit.
*Students enrolled in the Intensive English Institute are exempt from having to pay the housing deposit.
Start here to pay your housing deposit:
Pay housing deposit – I am enrolled in classes
1. In your browser, navigate to mycampus.maine.edu and log in using your UMS credentials.
2. On your LaunchPad, click on “Student Center”.
3. On your Student Center sidebar, select “Financials.
4. Under “Financials”, select “View/Pay Bills”.
5. In the menu bar, select “Deposits”.
6. Navigate to “Select a Term” and choose “Spring 2025” from the dropdown menu. You will then be able to make your Housing Deposit payment.
Pay housing deposit – I am not enrolled in classes yet
1. Navigate to https://mainestreet.maine.edu/ and click on the Classic Student Center button.
2. Click on “Pay My Bill” (even though the Student Center shows no bill is due).
3. Click on yellow-ish button that says “View Bill/ Payment Options”.
4. Click on yellow-ish button that says “Access TouchNet Bill+Payment”.
5. Click on the button at top of page called “Deposits”.
6. Select the appropriate Semester/ Term at the bottom of the page.
