Stodder Hall
Description:
The Graduate School is currently seeking a resident graduate community coordinator (GCC) to provide student service support to the graduate and undergraduate resident population in Stodder Hall.
Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain bulletin boards on assigned floor
- Attend check-in meeting with Graduate School staff, Auxiliary Services, and Faculty Member(s) in Residence (FIR) the beginning of each month
- Provide at least one programming opportunity per semester for Stodder residents
- Work closely with the Graduate School staff and the FIR during check-in/check-out times
- Facilitate hall meeting each semester for new and returning residents reviewing expectations for the living environment
- Manage cooperative use of the Stodder common facilities (kitchens, bathrooms, common spaces) **Occasionally help to maintain order in these areas
- Share weekend and evening oversight responsibilities with the FIR (lockouts, etc.)
More Details:
GCCs will receive full room/board for a single room in Stodder Hall for the academic year with the possibility of extension through the following summer. There is no tuition coverage for this position, and it is renewable based on satisfactory performance.
The GCC position is open to graduate students in good standing who intend to reside in Stodder Hall for the academic year. A strong background in student advising and relevant experience in a residence hall setting is strongly preferred.
