Biddle writes BDN piece on how to support students in poverty
Catharine Biddle, an assistant professor of educational leadership at the University of Maine, wrote a Maine Focus piece for the Bangor Daily News titled, “4 ways we can all support students in poverty.” Biddle suggests people should assume barriers and access are the issue, assume teachers are doing the best they can, support the expansion of social service coordination for schools and districts, and listen to young people.
