What is Gradescope? How can it help with more consistent and efficient grading approaches? This overview will introduce basic concepts of working in Gradescope, from using bubble sheets, to streamlining feedback. Gradescope was designed to allow faculty to include more diverse assessments with improved feedback while saving time on grading. It provides capacity in larger classes where assessments beyond multiple choice can be challenging at scale. However, for any size class it can improve the efficiency and quality of your grading for both paper (e.g. in class quizzes or exams, worksheets, reflections) or online assessments.
