Henri Akono, Ph.D.

Henri Akono, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the Maine Business School (MBS). He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at San Antonio. His research interests include executive compensation, analyst forecasts and recommendations, and capital market audits. His papers have been published in accounting and finance journals such as Accounting Horizons, Accounting and Business Research, Review of Accounting and Finance, Advances in Accounting, and Internal Auditing. His teaching interests include Auditing, Managerial Accounting, and Financial Reporting. He has also co-authored a chapter on audit fees and production models in the Routledge Companion to Auditing.
