CNF Production

The PDC has extensive experience in producing CNF from a wide variety of feedstocks, processing conditions and pretreatments using our patented and licensed technology.

Feedstock Versatility:

• Hardwood and softwood pulps, wood chips, wood residuals, non-woody biomass

Tailor Processing to Dial-in Properties

• A Morfi analyzer is used to monitor CNF production. CNF can be made to a variety of fines levels to change properties.
• Pretreatment options can be included in production

Scale-up

• Lab and pilot scale supermasscolloider enables small quantities to be pre-evaluated prior to scale-up

Capacity

• 1 ton per day capacity
• Over 25 tons of CNF produced, over 100 runs completed
• 3% slurry or 18% cake product available
• Off-site pilot spray dryer
