Sydney Morning Herald uses UMaine Climate Reanalyzer sea ice data

In an article about scientists not knowing why Antarctica is missing an Argentina-sized amount of sea ice, the Sydney Morning Herald used visualizations of Antarctic sea ice from the University of Maine Climate Change Institute’s Climate Reanalyzer. They also noted that from the Climate Reanalyzer showing that on July 6, the global daily average temperature hit 17.2 degrees – the hottest ever recorded, surpassing the 17.18-degree record set just days earlier on July 4 and again on July 5.
