BDN interviews Dagher about offshore wind potential to power Maine

Habib Dagher, director of the University of Maine Advanced Structures and Composites Center, spoke with the Bangor Daily News about the potential for offshore wind to power Maine. “Harnessing just 3% of the Gulf of Maine’s offshore wind resource would be enough to fully electrify heating and transportation in Maine,” said Dagher, also Bath Iron Works professor of Structural Engineering.
