Bomb Threat
- If you observe a suspicious device or object, immediately call UMaine Police Department (581.4040) or 911
- Clear the area. Do not touch or move the device or object
- If you are advised of a bomb by phone, do not hang up. Note date, time and location of call
- Pay attention to other details, such as the caller’s age, gender, speech pattern, noise and any other distinguishing features
- Check the caller ID on your phone and, if possible, note where the call came from
- Ask the caller where, when, how and why the bomb was placed.
