Lisa Hastings

Lisa is the Assistant Financial Manager for the Division of Lifelong Learning (DLL). Her current responsibilities include providing financial support for the DLL and fiscal, course-scheduling, and data support to the DLL Operations Team. She also oversees compensation for instructors who work through the DLL. She is a 100% remote employee and is always available by email. 

She joined the DLL team in 2013 and was hired permanently after just three months. Over the past 10 years, she has been instrumental in the DLL’s entry into the digital age. Her past work has included medical assisting, mortgage banking, and food service management.

Her hobbies include true-crime documentaries and crocheting, and she loves spending time with her grandsons, Casper & Gus. Born in Bangor, Maine, she was an Army “brat” and has lived in many places, including Turkey. She currently calls Maryland home, where she visits her grandson daily.
