Faith Ann Erhardt graduated from the University of Maine with degrees in English and secondary education, then spent several years teaching high school English. Later, she earned her M.Ed. in counselor education and worked over a decade with UMaine’s TRiO Upward Bound program. Faith directs the Advising Center, teaches EHD 100: First Year Seminar, and enjoys meeting new and prospective students.
Faith and the staff in the Advising Center provide academic advising, support through the teacher candidacy process of preparing for teaching certification, and resources for experiences and opportunities in the field.
Faith is a member of the National Academic Advising Association, Kappa Delta Pi (International Honor Society in Education), the American Counseling Association, and is a certified teacher in Maine.
She lives with her husband and two boys in Orono, and has been a part of the UMaine community since birth. Go Blue!
