Dr. Goupee holds the position of Donald A. Grant Professor and Graduate Coordinator of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maine. Dr. Goupee’s research interests include the design, numerical modeling and model testing of floating offshore structures; geophysics; structural health monitoring; and engineering education. Dr. Goupee’s research has been funded by agencies such as the National Science Foundation, the Department of Energy and NASA. Dr. Goupee is also an active member of professional organizations, in particular, the International Society of Offshore and Polar Engineers.
