Daniel Timmermann

Daniel Timmermann serves in a split role leading communications for the Maine EPSCoR program and contributing to broader research communications through UMaine Research. Since coming to UMaine in 2021, Timmermann’s roles include producing written content, photo/video, website development and maintenance, production of print products, and other materials. Additionally, Timmermann mentors a team of undergraduate and graduate students and helping them grow as communicators themselves as they advance in their academic and professional careers. At the core of this work is a strong belief in the role of the University to serve the state of Maine, the diverse communities that compose it and broader society through its mission as an institute of education and research.
