Planning and facilitating constructive dialogue in classrooms seems more important than ever, though it involves both course design elements as well as facilitation techniques. In this overview, we will review key elements and steps involved in facilitating constructive dialogue in your classes, as well as explore reasons students might resist engagement. Faculty interested in practicing and applying these skills are invited to join our semester-long community of practice on the same topic.
