The Hackerspace needs your old/unwanted equipment!
Give your old equipment new life and donate it for student use! We are looking for unwanted and old equipment to be reused at the Hackerspace in the Memorial Union.
Examples of what we collect:
- Computer towers and parts (please remove all old data)
- Peripherals
- Audio gear (tape decks, mixers, splitters)
- Cameras (DSLR or cinema)
- Printers and scanners
- Old media players (VCRs or DVD players)
- Any type of cords
Examples of items we can’t accept:
- Any items containing freon (refrigerators, a/c units, heat pumps, etc)
- Any fluorescent lights or televisions which contain neon/xenon gases
- Items that use hot-plates
- Items with edges intended for cutting or that are hazardously sharp

The Hackerspace is located in room 144 of the Memorial Union. Hours are as follows:
Monday – Thursday | 10am – 5pm
Friday & Saturday | 10am – 4pm
