The Blackboard learning management system scheduled outage
The Blackboard learning management system will be unavailable starting at 8 PM on Sunday, January 7, with service restored by 8 AM on Monday, January 8.
This maintenance outage is necessary to continue the support of inline grading in the Blackboard system. The third party Crocodoc tool used for inline grading is being retired and replaced by Box View on January 15, 2018. After the update, Box View will be available for use, and any coursework in Crocodoc will be migrated to the new tool.
Selection of this date was made by the BBCORE Blackboard governance group, in consultation with IT and Blackboard, to find the least disruptive timing, based on the options available from the vendor. Thank you for your patience during this outage.
