Julia Van Steenberghe

Julia Van Steenberghe is the Director of Student Success and Recruitment at the Maine Business School, where she supports students throughout their entire academic journey— from recruitment and orientation to graduation and beyond.

She joined the undergraduate team in January 2023 as the Assistant Director of Academic Advising, Recruitment, and Student Support, and has since taken on a larger leadership role in student success initiatives.

Julia’s background in education and human development informs her work across many areas of the Business School. She teaches several special topics courses and serves as the MGT 101 Course Coordinator for Executive Dean Jason Harkins. She also leads the MBS Student Success Center and works closely with all MBS Student Organizations. 

Julia is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) at Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College, further deepening her commitment to student development and higher education leadership.

She lives in Orono with her dog Teddywho is in training to become a therapy dog and is a favorite among students.
