Self Assessment
UMaine course equivalencies for over 1,300 institutions may be found on the MaineStreet Equivalency Tool. Equivalency for General Education Categories are identified for appropriate courses.
Military Credit
Joint Services (JST) transcripts should be sent to Office of Student Records where military training will be evaluated based on American Council on Education (ACE) recommendations.
Test Credit
CLEP, AP, DSST, International Baccalaureate and other tests are detailed on the MaineStreet Equivalency Tool.
Official Credit Evaluation
Official Credit Evaluation will be posted in your UMaine Student Portal – Student Services Center shortly following admission.
