Brief Biography: I’m from Upstate NY where I grew up riding horses and being outdoors. My interest in aquatic ecology was piqued in high school and during undergrad I developed a feeling of responsibility towards fisheries and conservation biology. In my free time, I still enjoy horseback riding along with baking, hiking, and hanging out with my friends

Current Research: My research utilizes mercury contamination assessments of striped bass muscle tissue, otolith analysis, and acoustic telemetry to better understand the sources of mercury affecting striped bass in the Penobscot River and inform the public on the safety of consuming them.
