Brief Biography: Pakistan is my homeland – A country comprising beautiful cultures, music, foods, and Mountains like nowhere else. I spent my childhood chasing butterflies and woodpeckers. I ended up getting my bachelor’s in environmental science. Baking, cooking a Pakistani version of pasta, and occasionally sketching is what make me happy.
Current Research: My project focuses on the implemented Environmental flows in the Willamette Basin, Oregon, and how the changes in these flows are affecting the benthic macroinvertebrate species in the basin. Studying aquatic invertebrates and their responses to environmental flows is crucial, especially because they serve as prey for economically and ecologically significant fish species, such as Salmonids.
