Using the article list content block to feature news and updates
The article list content block is a great way to feature news and updates on your website. In 2021 we added several new options to this feature, allowing for more options to feature UMaine News on your website by academic area, region, or custom feed.
The two options for this block that use the featured images of posts can make your news visually interesting, but the layout of the news posts can appear uneven when posts do not consistently have featured images assigned. We now offer the ability to restrict this block so that it only shows articles that have a featured image. Simply select “Show only articles that have a featured image” within “Display Options” and the block will ignore any posts that do not have a featured image.
