Art and activism merged as an undergrad at UMaine, drawing editorial cartoons for The Maine Campus during Watergate and the birth of the Wilde Stein Club. After transferring and graduating from UMPI, decades of lifelong learning, graphic arts, and involvement with diversity and human rights organizations followed. Ruth is a 2013 graduate of UMaine’s Diversity Leadership Institute, retiring from UMaine Printing Services in 2020.
